Sabrina Carpenter is Starring in Road Trip Drama 'Short History of the Long Road'

Sabrina Carpenter has a new movie role lined up!

The “Alien” singer will be starring in the upcoming drama The Short History of the Long Road.

In the indie road trip film, Sabrina will play Nola, “a young van-dweller forced to take the wheel for the first time when tragedy strikes,” The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Ani Simon-Kennedy will direct, and Danny Trejo, Steven Ogg, Jashaun St. John, Rusty Schwimmer, and Maggie Siff will also star.

Production starts this month and is expected to last several weeks on location in New Mexico.

You can also catch Sabrina in the upcoming crime drama The Hate U Give and in the series So Close, her first TV role since Girl Meets World.
