Joey King and Calum Worthy had the best time working together on The Act and it totally shows!

The 19-year-old actress popped out and scared Calum, 28, during their appearance at the Build Series on Thursday afternoon (March 14) in New York City.

“SURPRISE!!!!!!! 😱 Full day of press today and so happy I get to spend some of it with this talented guy,” Joey captioned the funny video below on Instagram.

During her interview, Joey was asked about the emotional toll it took to play Gypsy Blanchard.

“Mentally, it was draining. I felt so vulnerable every day when I would step on set. I genuinely could not have done it without Calum. I relied on him so much when it came to those tense emotional scenes. I knew he would be there for me and I hope he knew I would always be there for him,” Joey said. “It was a lot, but in saying that, it was one of the most special projects I’ve ever worked on, experience-wise.”
