Lion King's Shahadi Wright Joseph Drops Debut Single 'Skin I'm In' - Listen Now!

The Lion King star, who voices Young Nala in the film, released the inspiring pop and R&B song this week via Billboard.

“I’m loving this skin I’m in, I’m in/ But at times it can get so hard/ I’m loving this skin I’m in, I’m in/ But I’m bigger than my scars,” she sings.

“‘Skin I’m In’ is an anthem to remind us all to love ourselves on our best and worst days,” Shahadi said. “Daily challenges are unavoidable but can be taken in stride when we choose to say, ‘I am enough.’”
