Princess Leonor Makes First Major Speech at Princess of Asturias Awards

The 13-year-old young royal made her first major speech at the event, where she vowed to “serve Spain”, Royal Central reports.
“I promise to serve Spain and all Spaniards with dedication and effort,” Leonor read aloud to the crowd, “[and] today is a very important day in my life.”
Leonor, who was supported by her family – parents King Felipe and Queen Letizia, grandmother, Queen Sofia, and younger sister, Infanta Sofia, also recognized the honorees of the evening.
“Your work reminds us that there are millions of people who think and act so that the world will be a better place,” she shared.
