OlderSelena Gomez Explains Why She Doesn't Like Her 'Revival' Album Cover
Selena Gomez doesn’t think her Revival album cover was authentic to herself.
During a recent photo shoot, the 27-year-old songstress and actress explained that she thinks the album and its artwork didn’t really represent her.
“I can’t be anybody else, so that’s the truth. I’ve tried, you know, like my last album cover, and you know, things like that I thought I could do…working on songs that didn’t really add up to my story,” Selena said in a behind-the-scenes clip from her shoot with Dazed.
She continued, “But [this is] just who I am, and I can’t pretend to be anything other than that.”
In a 2015 interview with Ryan Seacrest, Selena previously said she thought the cover was “a beautiful representation of where I am.”
