'Zombies 2' Ratings Revealed - Were They Higher Or Lower Than First Movie?

Zombies 2 was a huge success for Disney Channel!

The sequel to the network’s first hit movie pulled in 4.9 million total viewers for it’s Valentine’s Day premiere, which is higher than the first movie from last year.

That total number of viewers made it 2020′s #1 cable telecast of the year so far, excluding sports and news programming.

Zombies 2 pulled in 1.9 million Kids, ages 6-11 with a 12.56 rating, 1.4 million Girls 6-11 (18.43 rating), 1.6 million Tweens 9-14 (9.98 rating), and 1.1 million Girls 9-14.

It also makes the sequel cable TV’s highest ratings among all Kid and Girl demographics since Descendants 3 last August!

The Zombies 2 soundtrack is also doing really well. It has reached #1 on the iTunes Soundtrack chart and it’s outpacing the 2018 movie’s music by more than 22% in the U.S.

Crossing our fingers for a third movie. We know Disney Channel loves to do musicals in threes!
