Jenna Ortega Joins Cast of 'Songbird', Filming Begins In Los Angeles

Jenna Ortega is heading back to work!

The 17-year-old actress has joined the cast of the new pandemic thriller Songbird, along with Bradley Whitford.

“Here we go,” Jenna simply captioned the new on Instagram.

Filming on the new movie is set to begin TODAY (July 8) on location in Los Angeles, making it the first film to shoot since the lockdown.

Jenna and Bradley join the previously announced cast – Demi Moore, Craig Robinson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Peter Stormare – in the Michael Bay and Adam Goodman produced film.

“Finding a safe and practical way back into production has not been easy, however, our partnership with the guilds and unions has been a true testament to our great Hollywood community,” Adam Goodman said in a statement. “Throughout the process they were awesome partners at finding a way to get their members working again, but always making safety and welfare the first priority. As artists, we need to keep telling stories, and times like these must be documented.”
