Celebs React to the Heartbreaking Loss of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
Ruth Bader Ginsburg has sadly passed away.
The 87-year-old Supreme Court Justice died at her home in Washington on Friday evening (September 18) with her family by her side.
The Supreme Court announced the news that she died from complications due to metastatic pancreas cancer.
“Our nation has lost a justice of historic stature. We at the Supreme Court have lost a cherished colleague. Today we mourn, but with confidence that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we knew her — a tireless and resolute champion of justice,” Chief Justice John Roberts said in statement.
Just days before she passed, Justice Ginsburg reportedly told her granddaughter Clara Spera, “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”
Our hearts and thoughts go out to Ruth‘s family and friends during this time.
