Miley Cyrus Signs New Record Deal On New Label!

Miley Cyrus has a new record label!

It was just revealed that the 28-year-old singer signed a new contract with Columbia Records, according to Variety.

Miley‘s move comes just after her highly successful rock album Plastic Hearts, which would end up being her last on RCA after seven years.

The singer signed with RCA back in 2013 after leaving Disney’s Hollywood Records. She released the albums Bangerz, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, Younger Now and Plastic Hearts during her tenure on RCA, as well as her 2019 EP She Is Coming.

Miley‘s new record deal is said to stem “from Miley and her co-managers Adam Leber and Tish Cyrus’ long and positive relationship with Columbia chief Ron Perry, who signed Miley directly,” Variety says.

Her younger sister Noah is also signed to the Columbia-distributed RECORDS label, and her close family friend Lil Nas X, who Adam Leber manages as well, is also signed to Columbia.

If you didn’t know, Columbia and RCA are both under the Sony Music umbrella.

In case you missed it, Miley recently added a new member to her family!
