OlderUniversal & Dreamworks Set Release Date For 'Puss In Boots' Sequel Movie
Puss In Boots is getting a sequel!
Dreamworks Animation will debut the brand new movie Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, Deadline reports.
The film will star Antonio Banderas back as the title character as he “discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll: He has burned through eight of his nine lives, leaving him with only one left. He sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.”
Puss In Boots: The Last Wish has a September 23, 2022 release date, and will be directed by Joel Crawford and produced by Mark Swift, the team who brought us The Croods: A New Age.
The first Puss In Boots movie is currently available to stream on Netflix, along with The Adventures of Puss In Boots series and the Puss In Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale special.
