Demi Lovato Starts Filming 'Hungry' Pilot, Does This For The First Time

Demi Lovato has started work on their upcoming NBC comedy pilot Hungry!!

The soon to be 29-year-old entertainer took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 20) to share that they’ve starting filming the show.

“Meet Teddy,” Demi wrote on their story with a photo from inside their trailer.

They also shared something they did for the first time ever on a project…

“Had to film a sex scene today. My first one! I had a little anxiety going into it but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it calmed me down immediately,” Demi shared about the scene.

They also opened up about feeling comfortable in their skin.

“Then, I thought about how proud I am for being able to feel comfortable enough in my skin to do that. I rarely ever showed my arms before.. now I’m in this!! (Granted, it barely shows anything BUT STILL) I don’t always feel good in my skin, so when I do, AND I feel sexy enough to post – I do just that! It’s important to celebrate the little wins. Yay for this random burst of body confidence and yay for awkward hilarious sex 😂🖤” they said.

Demi stars as Teddy, “a talented food stylist who wants to have a healthy relationship with food and date men who are good for her – but, like so many of us – it’s a struggle.”

Hungry centers on a “group of friends who belong to a food-issues group helping one another as they look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that’s going to make it all better.”
