Tanner Buchanan Teases Upcoming 'Best Season Yet' of 'Cobra Kai'

Tanner Buchanan is opening up about the upcoming season of Cobra Kai!

The 23-year-old actor returns as Robby Keene in the fourth season, which debuts THIS Friday (December 31) on Netflix.

In a new interview, Tanner teased what fans can expect in the new episodes.

“This is definitely one of the most intense seasons we’ve had,” he told Page Six. “One of the most action-packed. The world has expanded so much. We’re bringing in new people and people from the original franchise, and in my opinion, people are going to think this is the best season yet.”

Tanner also shared how different he is than his character on the show.

“I’m very much the opposite of Robby,” he said. “I’ve been acting since I was a kid, so I was very much focused, because I knew this is what I wanted to do and I had to be very professional.”

“You had homework to do and I’d get home from set and do homework into the night, go to sleep. I was very driven and knew what I wanted to do,” Tanner added.

When he has time off, his favorite thing to do is…

“I didn’t hang out with a lot of people. I always kept to myself,” Tanner shared about when he was younger, adding, “My favorite thing to do when I had time off was to play the guitar and watch the History Channel. I still like to do that … that was my jam back then, and now.”
