April Parker Jones & Marquise Vilsón Cast as Series Regulars On 'Tom Swift'

The Tom Swift cast just got a little bigger!

It was just announced that April Parker Jones and Marquise Vilsón, along with Albert Mwangi, have been cast as series regulars in the upcoming new CW series, according to Deadline.

The trio join previously announced Tian Richards as the title character, and recently announced Ashleigh Murray.

April has been cast as Tom’s mother Lorraine Smith, described as “debutante royalty with a kind heart. Her relationship with Tom is close and loving until the aftermath of his father’s disappearance begins to drive a wedge between them.”

Marquise, a trans actor, will play Tom’s bodyguard Isaac Vega, who is “trans, pansexual and a consummate badass. His simmering feelings for Tom will never get in the way of his duty and loyalty.”

Albert is set to portray Rowan, “a member of the security detail for a Congressman in Tom’s orbit, Rowan’s steely demeanor hides his mysterious past – and his star-crossed interest in Tom.”
