Yaya Gosselin Gives Update On 'We Can Be Heroes' Netflix Sequel

Yaya Gosselin is offering some insight on the status of the We Can Be Heroes sequel!

The young actress starred as Missy Moreno in the Netflix movie, who will stop at nothing to rescue her superhero dad, Marcus Moreno, after alien invaders kidnapped Earth’s superheroes and their kids were whisked away to a government safe house.

Just a couple weeks after the movie debuted on Netflix on Christmas Day 2020, it was announced that a sequel was in development!

Director and co-writer Robert Rodriguez even confirmed the news on social media.

Now, it’s been over a year since that announcement, and Yaya is giving an update on what’s going on with the movie.

“I think everybody knows this, but Netflix greenlit a sequel,” she told J-14. “We haven’t heard anything. … I’m waiting for the email to come in that we’re doing it, but we’re crossing our fingers. I’m crossing everything. You know, I really hope that we get another one.”

If you missed it, it was just revealed that Robert is working on a new Spy Kids movie for Netflix!

In the meantime, Yaya will be starring in an upcoming Apple TV+ series.
