Perrie Edwards is engaged!

The 28-year-old Little Mix singer announced on Saturday (June 18) that longtime boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain proposed to her the night before.

“Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said… YES!” Perrie wrote on Instagram.

Along with the announcement, Perrie shared some gorgeous photos of the 28-year-old Liverpool soccer player proposing to her at sunset by the sea along with a close up photo of her diamond engagement ring.

After sharing the announcement, Perrie‘s Little Mix bandmates took to the comments to react. Leigh-Anne Pinnock wrote, “Best news! So happy for you both” while Jade Thirlwall shared the “😭♥️” emojis.

Perrie and Alex started dating in November 2016. They welcomed their first child together, a son named Axel, on August 21, 2021.
