Lucy Hale Says 'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' Is Really Fun & 'Feels Really Fresh'

Lucy Hale has been a big supporter of the Pretty Little Liars franchise expanding with Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

The original PLL star is also close friends with Bailee Madison, who stars in the upcoming new HBO Max series.

If you didn’t know, Original Sin also hails from Riverdale‘s Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who Lucy worked with on the short lived Katy Keene.

Just last week, Lucy hosted the red carpet premiere event for the new show, and she dished about the first couple of episodes!

“I obviously love Roberto, and I love Bailee,” Lucy told Extra. “I’ve watched the first tow episodes and it’s really freaking cool.”

“There’s so many parts of it where the original fans will grasp on to, but there is a new take on it. They really hone in on the slasher/horror thing, and it’s very scary,” she continued. “The acting’s great, the writing’s great, and it’s just really fun, but there’s enough newness that it feels really fresh.”

Lucy was also asked if she would ever appear on the re-imagined series, and she played coy.

“You know, I think there’s something really special about how separate they are, and there’s a familiar quality, but I think keeping the stories very separate is great too because I think, I don’t know. Listen, who knows,” Lucy said. “Would I be a mom though? What would I be? I could be a mom… I never say never, so we’ll see.”
