'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' Star Alex Aiono WILL Return for 'Doogie Kamealoha, MD' Season 2

Yes, Alex Aiono will be in season two of Doogie Kamealoha, MD on Disney+!

The musician and actor is currently starring in the HBO Max series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin as a series regular.

Alex plays Shawn, Noa’s (Maia Reficco) supportive boyfriend and one of the most popular jocks at Millwood High.

However, with the new PLL series, and the casting of Milo Manheim in a recurring role in season two of Doogie, many were wondering about Alex‘s involvement.

This week, Peyton Elizabeth Lee shared a series of photos from Hawaii, where season two is currently filming.

The photos featured pics with Milo, Matt Sato, Emma Meisel, executive producer Melvin Mar, and of course Alex, providing an update that he is in fact going to be in the new season.

At the end of season one, Peyton‘s Lahela/Doogie and Alex’s Walter were going to go to Australia together for his surfing career, but when her mom said no and she ended up quitting the hospital, he didn’t want her to throw away her career.

She then agrees not to go, but then he says he’s not going to go, then she urges that he has to go because surfing is his passion. They don’t break up however leaving their future optimistic, just spending time apart.

Earlier this year, TheDisInsider revealed that the series was casting a female character named Blake, to be a surfer on the pro tour and a roommate for Walter.

We’ll have to wait and see how Lahela and Walter’s relationship plays out in season two when it premieres!
