Taylor Paige Henderson – 10 Fun Facts

• 1. I love all animals and frequently pick up stray dogs and bring them home. I have two rescue dogs named Winston and Trudy, and one rescue cat named Matilda. I also volunteer for a local animal rescue group which is one of the best parts of my week. I am a firm believer in “adopt, don’t shop!”
• 2. The very first time I was ever on stage in front of an audience I was 5 years old and I played an oyster in Alice in Wonderland. I was on stage for about 45 seconds total of the whole show and I completely broke character and waved at someone in the audience. I’ve come a long way since then.
• 3. I love cleaning my room. It brings me so much joy to put everything in its place. It’s my form of free therapy.
• 4. My parents named me Taylor because they are big fans of singer/songwriter James Taylor and his music. “Secret O’ Life” is my favorite James Taylor song.
• 5. When I was 9 I went to NYC for the very first time. I made the mistake of stepping onto a subway train that I thought my whole family was going to get on behind me. Turns out, that wasn’t the train we were getting on, but by the time we all realized what was happening the doors to the train were closing and I was stuck on the train by myself! Sorry if you were on a train with a screaming 9-year-old who was horrified as the train was pulling away from the platform that her family was still standing on. I was eventually reunited safely with my family, but it was one of the scariest things that ever happened to me. I’m proud to say I can confidently ride the NYC subway now.
• 6. I am a classically trained ballerina and have been dancing since I was 4 years old. The ballet studio is one of my favorite places to be.
• 7. I am a very picky eater. If I had to choose one thing to eat every day for the rest of my life it would be pasta.
• 8. My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls. I’ve watched the entire series countless times all the way through. You should totally go watch it right now.
• 9. I have a brother named Will who is 16 months older than me and my very best friend. When we were younger people would constantly ask our mom if we were twins.
• 10. While filming Hocus Pocus 2, I went to my very first haunted house during Halloween while we were in Salem, MA. As terrifying as it was, turns out I love haunted houses and am kind of addicted to them now. Scary things are so fun!
