OlderSelena Gomez Responds After Kidney Donor Francia Raisa Reacts To Her Quote About Taylor Swift Being Her Only Friend In The Industry
The quote actually made it into another outlet’s Instagram, where Francia commented on it, writing, “Interesting.”
The comment has since been deleted, but fans were also quick to pick up on the fact that Francia doesn’t follow Selena on social media.
“What about Francia? I mean, she gave Selena a Kidney 🥺,” one fan wrote in response to the drama going on, while another joked, “The way i’d ask for my kidney back.”
Another seemed to take Selena‘s side in this and called out Francia.
“Plz this is petty af. Francia could’ve reached out to Selena in private to clarify what she meant in this interview,” they stated. “Because clearly she meant that Taylor is the only international superstar/insanely famous person that she’s friends with.”
Following Francia‘s reaction, Selena also responded to the situation, by commenting on a TikTok video about the situation.
“Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know,” she wrote in the comments of Stephanie Tleiji (@stephwithdadeets)’s video explaining the perceived drama.
In her interview, Selena told Rolling Stone about her tight-knit inner circle: “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
