David Harbour Reveals When 'Stranger Things' Season 5 Starts Filming

David Harbour is sharing an update on the upcoming fifth and final season of Stranger Things!

The hit Netflix series will wrap up after it’s next season, and the actor who play Detective Jim Hopper recently revealed when they start filming, and it’s sooner than you may think.

Get the scoop inside…

“We’re walking into season five. I’ve got a couple more months to train. We start shooting that in June, though, and that will be the final season,” he said at the Middle East Film & Comic Con in Abu Dhabi, via Collider.

“I did a lot of training for season four. He [Hopper] was in a very specific position, that Russian prison. It was about making him a different guy and sort of shedding a layer of himself physically, mentally, and emotionally,” David continued. “But now he’s back in town, he’s back in America where they have cheeseburgers, so he will be well-fed.”

If you missed it, find out who David said should play a younger version of his character.

You can currently catch David in the Netflix movie We Have a Ghost, which was just revealed to be the No 1 movie in this week’s Top 10 on the streamer.

The comedy is in it’s second week and remained at the top with an additional 42.62 million hours viewed, appearing in the Top 10 in 93 countries across the world.
