Jermaine Harris stars as London Johnson, Paris’ older brother and aspiring DJ in the new Disney Channel series.
The show centers around 14-year-old Paris Johnson and her best friends, Simone and Ari, who hone their roller skating skills on the cool parquet floor of Saturdays, a local skating rink in Chicago. Together they form the We-B-Girlz skate crew and are determined to show and prove they have the hottest skate routines on the planet!
“I’m not a musician… but it was cool because I feel like we got to learn something,” he told PopCulture.com. “We actually got to learn a new skill, like learn history about certain things as far as the music in the skate community. And those were some of the few cool blessings that we got to have with these characters.”
JJJ caught up with Jermaine and got to know 10 Fun Facts about the actor.

- 1. I’m from a town called Pittsburg, California in the Bay Area. It’s a small town and not much goes on there. But it’s home.
- 2. I started acting when I was 10 years old. My teacher got me into it.
- 3. I’m a sneakerhead. I’ve been collecting shoes since 2017. Don’t ever plan on stopping.
- 4. I’m a HUGE horror fan. Love me some slasher films! Some of my favorites are Scream (1996), Black Christmas (1974), Psycho (1960) and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane (1962).
- 5. I love riding my bike in my free time. It’s super relaxing.
- 6. I took ballet for 3 years when I was in school. Didn’t think I would like it as much as I did.
- 7. If I wasn’t a performer I would be an entomologist. Bugs are so cool to me haha!
- 8. I LOVE Star Wars. Always wanted to be in the Star Wars stories even before I started acting.
- 9. My favorite go to food is always a hamburger. You can’t go wrong with them.
- 10. I love me a good mystery. Whether that’s in a book or a film, a podcast. Love a good mystery.
