Grant Gustin Reveals 'The Flash' Final Season Scene That Had to Be Changed

Grant Gustin is opening up about the final season of The Flash!

The star of the show shared in a recent interview that he contracted COVID during filming and the schedule had to be rearranged a bit to accommodate.

This resulted in him not being able to film with Teddy Sears as originally planned.

Teddy, unfortunately, is like one of my favorite people and his work, I didn’t get to be a part of with him. I was originally supposed to,” Grant shared with TV Line. “So, I dodged COVID for three years and got it six days before we were supposed to wrap, and we had to readjust story and readjust production.”

“There was one scene we were supposed to be in together, this is a scoop, where I was playing, I won’t say specifically who because I don’t want to spoil that, but I was playing a different character that I have played in the past on the show, and I was supposed to be playing that character in a scene with Teddy playing Zoom,” he continued. “Because of the schedule changes, that was one of the casualties of the production changing… They didn’t double me, they just ended up having to conceptually kind of change it up a bit.”
