Elle Fanning to Play Timothee Chalamet's Love Interest in Bob Dylan Biopic

Elle Fanning will be going back to the ’60s for a new movie role!

It was just revealed that the 25-year-old The Great star has joined Timothee Chalamet in the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic, according to Deadline.

If you recall, this movie has been years in the making, having first been announced back in January 2020.

The film is reportedly starting production this summer in New York, and will pick up “as a young Dylan (Chalamet) shakes up the music world in 1965, as he pivots to performing with an electric guitar for the first time.”

Elle will be playing college student and artist Sylvie Russo, Bob‘s love interest in the 1960s.

James Mangold will be directing, with a script by Jay Cocks. Bob Dylan himself will serve as an executive producer, along with his longtime manager Jeff Rosen producing as well.
