It has been four months since Ginny & Georgia premiered on Netflix and we finally have an update on the future of the show.
The Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey-led series debuted back in January with it’s second season to quite the numbers – it dethroned Wednesday at the top of the streamer’s weekly Top 10 list.
Then, weeks later it was revealed that the comedy/drama series had knocked out 13 Reasons Why off of Netflix’s most popular TV list, although since then, Ginny & Georgia has also been knocked off the list.
However, amidst it’s popularity, Netflix had yet to reveal if it has been renewed or not, until now.

Good news for fans of the show – Ginny & Georgia has been picked up for not one, but TWO MORE seasons!!!!
The news was revealed at the streaming service’s Upfronts presentation on Wednesday (May 17), with a change to the crew.
Variety reports that Sarah Glinski has signed on to serve as showrunner, taking over from Debra J Fisher, and her appointment took place prior to the writer’s strike.
