Millie Bobby Brown Gives Update on Wedding Planning with Jake Bongiovi

Millie Bobby Brown is opening up about planning her wedding!

The 19-year-old actress and her 21-year-old beau Jake Bongiovi got engaged earlier this year, nearly two years after they were first spotted together in NYC.

During an appearance on Good Morning America on Thursday (September 14) to promote her new book “Nineteen Steps,” Millie was asked about wedding planning.

“Really, really exciting. It’s such an amazing part of my life so far, and just being able to do it with someone makes it even better,” she dished.

She was even gifted a new cheese board with their initials (and the GMA logo) on it!

Also during the interview, Millie was asked if the American soldier in her book is based on or inspired by Jake.

“I was developing ‘Nineteen Steps’ before I actually met Jake,” she added. “So, the American soldier is an idea that came along far beyond Jake, but Jake is of course the American in my life.”

If you didn’t know, “Nineteen Steps” is inspired by true events and her family’s history. She has mentioned that she spent a lot of time listening to stories from her grandmother for inspiration.
