Sean Giambrone To Have Recurring Guest Role On New Series 'The Chicken Squad'

Sean Giambrone is lending his voice to another Disney series!

It was just announced that the 21-year-old The Goldbergs and Kim Possible star will have a recurring guest role as Riley, a gruff pack rat, on the upcoming Disney Junior series The Chicken Squad.

The new show is based off of Doreen Cronin‘s popular children’s books, and follows a trio of young chicken siblings—Coop, Sweetie and Little Boo—and their retired search and rescue dog mentor, Captain Tully. Together, they team up on problem-solving adventures in their backyard to help their animal friends, while modeling what it means to be good community helpers and finding the joy in assisting others.

The main cast consists of Yvette Nicole Brown as Captain Tully, Ramone Hamilton as Coop, Gabriella Graves as Sweetie and Maxwell Simkins as Little Boo.

Recurring roles also include Tony Hale as Frazz, a nervous squirrel; Jane Lynch as Dr. Dirt, a forensic scientist snail; Melissa Rauch as Dinah, the chicks’ mother; Malcolm-Jamal Warner as Lt. Scruffy, a retired firehouse dog; and Melissa Villaseñor and Zack Pearlman as Wheeze and Snick, mischievous raccoon siblings.

Rachel Bloom and Chrissie Fit will also guest star in the first season, as Rebeecca, a nervous honeybee, and Quilla, a friendly porcupine, respectively.

The Chicken Squad will be premiering on May 14th at 7:30pm ET/PT on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW!

Sean is no stranger to voice work. His past and current voice credits include Big Hero 6: The Series, Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, The Loud House, Clarence, Solar Opposites, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Harley Quinn, The Emoji Movie, Ralph Breaks The Internet, and The Secret Life of Pets 2.
