Singing sisters Alyson and AJ Michalka step out at Nylon magazine’s Young Hollywood Issue Party held at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood on Monday night (May 4).

AJ, 18, wrote on their MySpace recently about the tour rumors rolling around, saying, “Apparently there’s some talk online that we’ll be touring this summer even though Aly said we’d be on the road in the Tigerbeat interview. But…we don’t have any plans to tour yet since we’re focusing on finishing the record. So no, we won’t be on the road this summer or anytime soon.”

She continued, “BTW…the album is sounding really amazing so far and is definitely a bit heavier than Insomniatic. Don’t worry…not crazy heavy but it’s got lots of guitars and definitely a more rockin feel. We think you’ll really dig it and can’t wait to share the final version with you. We’re working on mixing it right now so hopefully that will get to happen soon! Lots of love xoxo”
