OlderFashion Faceoff: Talbot Runhof Silver Dress
Selena Gomez stepped out in a shiny silver Talbot Runhof gathered dress at the 2009 American Music Awards late last year. The 17-year-old actress completed her award show look with a beaded belt and Rock & Republic’s new “Romy†strappy heel with chain detail.
ACM Entertainer of the Year Carrie Underwood wore the same Talbot Runhof silver number during the taping of Brooks & Dunn’s The Last Rodeo Show at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday night (April 19). The 27-year-old singer finished off her look with peep-toe black heels at the event.

I think the hand purse plus her adorable features equals Selena wearing the dress better. My vote is on her not because I love her (but I do) but because IMO, she wore it better.
These polls are pointless. Regardless of who wears it better, Selena, Miley, and Vanessa will always win on JJjr.

Selena’s still got a boy’s body, but she tries to fill out womanly clothes. She needs to wait a few years for her woman figure to kick in before wearing some of the dresses she does. For examples, Selena’s got a boxy body (no curves) so the dress in that pic is not figure flattering on her. So definitely Carrie>>Selena, and I’m not even a Carrie fan.
Carrie Underwood, this is not a hard question.

selena as always she has so much class, glam and style and she just put it in whatever she wears…
I’ll hav 2 say Selena wore it better. It fits her body more, showing curves. That makes it stand out more on Selena.
Carrie’s looks a little bit normal on her.

Carrie owned that dress! But it’s not the same dress – the sequins are different. I know for a fact it’s a Jovani dress.
The dresses look totally different to me. First thing I noticed was the neckline then also Selena has the opening at the bottom of the dress making it look almost like a 2 piece. I think Carrie looks better because the other one is too bulky looking.
I think that Carrie definitely wore it better. Obviously both of them are gorgeous, but it’s something about the way the dress fits Carrie. yeah…Selena does kind of have a boys body, but I love them both!
