The 24-year-old actress, who was spotted out at the gym yesterday afternoon, recently chatted with Nylon mag on the type of roles she’d love to do.
Ashley shared, “I love comedy, and I have nothing against commercial movies. But I’m more interested in making movies that I would want to see, things like Juno or Superbad, that are darker and drier and more edgy.”

She didn’t say she doesn’t want to do comedy, or anything like Sharpay movies. In fact she said “I love comedy, and I have nothing against commercial movies.”
So this doesn’t make her “saying something and doing another”
Plus, Hellcats is supposed to be a drama. So it’s neither comedy or commercial movies. It is somehow edgier, or darker if you compare it to previous roles.
