Demi Lovato: 'X Factor' Judge?

Demi Lovato is reportedly closing a deal to join the judges’ table for the next season of The X Factor.

“Although the deal is not yet done and could fall apart, sources say Lovato‘s team is in final negotiations for the job,” according to THR.

The trade adds that show executives, including creator Simon Cowell, hope the 19-year-old entertainer “will bring [in] a younger audience.”

Britney Spears is also rumored to be one of the new judges who’ll replace season 1′s Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

The X-Factor U.S.A is the most boring of the singing shows. So who cares.

Demi is a talented young girl but think a judge on this type of show needs a bit more maturity and breadth of experience. Still if he wants to bring in a younger audience this could be the way to do it. Simon Cowell is a very smart man and I am sure he knows what he is trying to achieve.

I don’t like “X-Factor”: to begin with but I don’t think this is a good idea. I have nothing against Demi at all so this has nothing to do with her talent. It has to do with the fact that if they want the judges to be taken seriously they have to be over twenty-five at least. They need to be more seasoned not just starting out.

I think is a great idea!! demi is extremely talent!! the x factor is about young pple trying to be famous! demi has such an amazing voice record and knows how difficult it can be this… so she can be very productive for these new people trying to control the voice and give them advice about the whole business of fame in Hollywood :) #GoDemi

Love Demi, but I think she needs a lot more experience to mentor acts on the X Factor. Also, she has had her personal issues that she is still dealing with and I think to mentor others while dealing with her own issues is risky. It might be too much pressure for her.

I think it’s worth a shot. The more of Demi we see the better! But I don’t think this story is real.
