Taylor Swift Promotes Her Brother Austin's Movie on National Siblings Day!

Taylor Swift has a great reason to be proud of her brother Austin on National Siblings Day – he just released a new movie that he not only stars in, but also helped produce!

The 30-year-old singer took to Instagram to help promote Austin‘s new movie, We Summon the Darkness.

“It’s National Siblings Day! My brother @austinkingsleyswift is one of my best pals, and I’m really proud of him because he’s in a film that came out today called We Summon The Darkness (which he also co-produced),” Taylor captioned the post.

Taylor revealed that her friend Gigi Hadid snapped the photo. She added, “My facial expression by 3 glasses of wine.”

Austin posted on Instagram on Thursday, saying, “Hope you guys are staying safe and doing all right. In case you’re looking for something to watch, We Summon the Darkness, a film I co-produced and acted in, is out and available for download tomorrow.”

You can rent the movie, which has an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, now on iTunes and other digital retailers!

The “You Need to Calm Down” star, who turned 30 on Friday (December 13), got a surprise 30th birthday party bash during a recording session with Jack Antonoff and songwriter Laura Sisk on Wednesday (December 18).

“Walked into the studio to a surprise birthday party from these two @jackantonoff & @sharp_stick – it’s equally wild and cozy to think it was the three of us in a room making a song called “Lover” here last year. ♥️”

The picture featured Taylor with a giant birthday cake, and her friends holding big balloons. Her brother, Austin Swift, was also tagged in the second photo, which featured giant “Happy Birthday” balloons.

The 29-year-old singer took to her Instagram Story on Sunday (April 21) to share a video of herself and her brother playing a round of egg tapping.

While wearing a pink, sun dress and showing off the pink-dyed ends of her ponytail, Taylor and Austin battled it out in a game of egg tapping – where you and your opponent each hold a hard-boiled egg and tap the eggs to get the other’s to crack without cracking your own egg.

The 28-year-old singer took to Twitter on Tuesday (April 10), which also happened to be National Siblings Day, to urge her fans to check out her bro’s new film Cover Versions.

“It’s National Siblings Day! Check out Austin‘s movie 😁,” she tweeted.

Cover Versions centers on synth-rock band Starfoxy, who, on the eve of their biggest gig ever, throw a rager that ends with a fan mysteriously dead in the pool. Austin Swift is sharing some special advice he’s gotten from big sis Taylor Swift!

The 26-year-old actor opened up about the advice at the recent premiere of his new film Cover Versions.

““[I get] a lot of advice in all aspects, but I think the best advice I get from Taylor is that she says I can do things — in the sense that a lot of times I’m more reserved and cautious and she’s like, ‘You can do it, you can handle it,’” he told ET. “That’s always nice to have that in the background.”
