Alyson Stoner Opens Up About Being Fired From a Children's Show After Coming Out
Who Stars in Disney Channel's 'Hamster & Gretel' - Meet the Voice Cast Here!
Hamster & Gretel is the latest animated series from Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire!
The new show airs weekly on Saturday mornings at 9:30am ET/PT on Disney Channel, and follows Kevin and younger sister Gretel, who are about to be bestowed super powers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with both Gretel and her pet Hamster to protect their city from mysterious dangers.
The music-filled series is actually based off of Dan‘s real life relationship with his younger sister.
If you have seen the first episodes (you can watch the first five on Disney+ now!), then you may recognize some of the voices on the show.

Michael Cimino Joins Liza Koshy, Alyson Stoner & More at 'Hamster & Gretel' Comic-Con Panel
Michael Cimino and Liza Koshy are all smiles while attending 2022 Comic-Con at Hilton Bayfront on Saturday (July 23) in San Diego, Calif.
The two co-stars were in attendance at a panel for their upcoming Disney Channel animated series Hamster & Gretel.
They were also joined by co-stars Alyson Stoner, Meli Povenmire, Carolina Ravassa, Joanna Hausmann and Duncan Trussell, as well as series creator Dan Povenmire.
This new show of course reunites Alyson and Dan, who previously worked together on the hit series Phineas and Ferb!
Hamster & Gretel is set to debut next month, and introduces Kevin (Cimino) and younger sister Gretel (Meli Povenmire), who are about to be bestowed super powers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with both Gretel and her pet Hamster to protect their city from mysterious dangers.
Carolina stars as Kevin and Gretel’s mom Carolina, Liza recurs as news reporter Veronica Hill, and Alyson voices Lauren aka The Destructress in a recurring role.

Disney Channel has revealed when their new animated series Hamster & Gretel will premiere!
The upcoming show comes from Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire, and is inspired by his real life relationship with his younger sister.
In addition to the premiere date, the network has also revealed the trailer, and additional casting, which includes some voice actors from past Disney projects and a Stranger Things star!

'Camp Rock 2' Celebrates 10 Years Since Disney Channel Premiere!

TODAY (September 3) marks the 10 year anniversary since Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premiered on Disney Channel in 2010.
Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Meaghan Martin, Jasmine Richards, Alyson Stoner, Roshon Fegan, Jordan Francis, Maria Canals-Barrera and Daniel Fathers all reprised their roles from Camp Rock, with new cast members Chloe Bridges and Matthew “MDot” Finley. In the sequel, the Camp Rockers have returned, and no one’s more excited than Mitchie and Shane, who anticipate more than a summer of music. Unfortunately, Camp Star, a big-money music camp funded by Brown’s former band mate, wants to shut Camp Rock down. Mitchie, in order to save the camp, challenges Camp Star to a final jam.
CR2 premiered on the Disney Channel to 7.9 million viewers!
The Disney movie brought us some great songs, including “Brand New Day”, “We Can’t Back Down,” “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” “It’s On,” “Fire,” “Heart and Soul,” “Introducing Me” and more.
