Ed Sheeran Earns His Second Hot 100 Number One with 'Perfect'

Ed Sheeran Earns His Second Hot 100 Number One with 'Perfect'

It’s a big day for Ed Sheeran – he is ending the year with another number one hit song on the Billboard Hot 100!

The 26-year-old singer just went to number one with his song “Perfect” and his song “Shape of You” has already spent 12 weeks at number one this year.

Beyonce is credited as an artist on the Hot 100 because 63 percent of the song’s total sales for the week were for the new duet version. Sales, streams, and radio play for both versions of the song are combined to determine the chart position, according to Billboard.

Post Malone‘s “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage moved to number two this week after eight weeks at the top of the chart. Camila Cabello‘s “Havana” also moves down one spot to number three.

Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' Video Doesn't Copy Beyonce, Director Says

Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' Video Doesn't Copy Beyonce, Director Says

Taylor Swift has been accused by Beyonce fans of copying the Queen B’s Lemonade visual album for her new “Look What You Made Me Do” music video, and now the video’s director is speaking out to slam the accusations.

“I’ve worked with Beyoncé a few times. She’s an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space. Love and respect to Bey,” director Joseph Kahn tweeted.

One of the shots that has caused a lot of the speculation is the one of Taylor lined up next to her male backup dancers. Fans have said this looks like Bey‘s “Formation” video.

Joseph previously directed Taylor‘s videos for “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Out of the Woods.” He also worked with Bey on Destiny’s Child‘s “Say My Name” and “Jumpin’ Jumpin.”

Dove Cameron & More Stars Have a Lot to Say About Beyonce & Adele at the Grammys

Dove Cameron & More Stars Have a Lot to Say About Beyonce & Adele at the Grammys

It’s safe to say that Adele and Beyonce both won the 2017 Grammys by just being themselves.

While both slayed on stage in epic performances, Adele also gave Bey multiple shoutouts during her acceptance speeches and backstage in the press room.

“I can’t possibly accept this award,” Adele said while accepting Album of the Year. “And I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious but my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album to me, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental, Beyonce. It was so monumental and so well thought out, and so beautiful and soul-bearing. We got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see, and we appreciate that, and all us artists here who adore you. And you are our lives, and the way that you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering, and you make them stand up for themselves, and I love you. I always have and I always will.”

Celebs took to Twitter to gush over both ladies and how inspiring they are. Check out what Dove Cameron and other stars had to say:
