Fifth Harmony Opens Up About THAT Shady VMAs Moment

Fifth Harmony made fans scream at their TVs on Sunday when they threw a silhouette of a fifth member off the stage during their 2017 MTV VMAs performance.

However, despite fans’ assumption that the move was a snub to former member Camila Cabello, the women promise that it is more about them than her.

“We get asked all the time if we’re getting a fifth member and we wanted to show the world in an artistic way that hey the four of us are Fifth Harmony,” Ally Brooke told Good Morning America on Tuesday (August 29). “And we’re stronger and better than we’ve ever been.”

Watch the full explanation below.

Fifth Harmony is going to have one of the most-talked about moments from the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards!

The group threw some shade at former member Camila Cabello by throwing the silhouette of a fifth member off the stage before kicking off the performance on Sunday (August 27) in Inglewood, Calif.

As the performance began, five silhouettes appeared at the top of a platform and then one was pushed to the ground. At this moment, the lights went up and Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, and Ally Brooke started singing!

5H has made headlines lately for not wanting to talk about Camila leaving the group any longer as it continuously comes up in interview after interview.

The group, who accepted the award for Best Pop Video earlier in the show, sang their songs “Angel” and “Down.”

Camila Cabello Might Have A Song Inspired By Austin Mahone on Her New Album

Camila Cabello Might Have A Song Inspired By Austin Mahone on Her New Album

Camila Cabello‘s debut solo album, The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving is out in just a month and it’s possible a song about Austin Mahone is on it.

If you remember, the two musicians dated for only a couple months back in 2014.

Speaking with Flaunt magazine, the “Crying in the Club” singer was speaking aboutthe music and relationships that have influenced the tracks on the record.

“Latin music has influenced me in every way,” Camila explained. “Even in ‘I’ll Never Be the Same’ — that was about a boy that I was with for like three months, not even, it was like two months,”

She adds, “And I’m just like, ‘You’re the one! It’s you!’”

According to the magazine, she was referring to the “drama that can be extracted from Latin culture” — but if “I’ll Never Be The Same” isn’t about Austin, who is it about?

Camila Cabello Thinks Friendship Break-ups Are Worse Than Romantic Break-ups

Camila Cabello Thinks Friendship Break-ups Are Worse Than Romantic Break-ups

Nearly every artist in the world sings about romantic break-ups, and the turbulence of romantic love — but one song on Camila Cabello‘s upcoming solo album addresses what is in her opinion a more painful kind of break-up.

“In a romantic relationship you think, this is amazing, this is beautiful, I love this person, but there’s a part of you that’s always prepared for it to end,” the 20-year-old singer told Flaunt.

With friendships, however, she thinks the pain is worse because it’s unexpected.

“I feel with a friendship you think it’s going to last forever,” Camila continued. “You start to consider that person like your family and so you don’t see an end to that. So when it’s like a shocking or abrupt ending that’s worse.”

Her song “I Have Questions,” released in May, is about a friendship ending and grappling with that pain.

We can’t wait to hear the entire album!

Camila Cabello has just debuted two new commercials in support of her new Skechers campaign.

The “Crying in the Club” singer did one in English, and the other in Spanish!

“It’s so important for me to pay homage to my Cuban/Mexican roots,” Camila says. “My culture is such a huge part of who I am.”

She adds that it’s something that has influenced her upcoming album too: “While working on my solo album, I have been listening to Spanish and English musicians – pulling inspiration from influencers I grew up with.”

“I grew up speaking Spanish around my house and listened to primarily Spanish music before discovering Michael Jackson and all of the artists I listen to today.”
