Drake Bell dives head first into the pool while practicing for the reality diving competition Splash on Friday afternoon (April 5) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old actor also enjoyed lunch and shared laughs with members of the crew during a break.

Earlier this week, Drake and his Splash partner Katherine Webb celebrated receiving the show’s first ever 10 score!

Over the weekend, the actor took a break from diving practice and headed to Tampa, Fla. to hang with friends and get some rest.

Drake Bell jumps for joy after hearing his and Katherine Webb‘s score on Tuesday night’s (April 2) Splash episode.

Together, Drake, 26, and Katherine, 23, dived off the 33 foot platform in a “Javelin” dive which required him to hold her on his back until mid-way through their dive.

The dive, one of the most difficult, placed them on top of the leader board and earned the show’s first 10!

Earlier this week, ABC released official stills from the diving competition reality show in preparation for the first episode!

Splash premieres Tuesday, March 19th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

The 26-year-old actor/musician is competing against Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Louie Anderson, Chuy Bravo, Rory Bushfield, Nicole Eggert, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Ndamukong Suh, Katherine Webb, and Kendra Wilkinson.

Leading up to the competition, the world’s most decorated and medaled diving legend, Greg Louganis, will give each celebrity weeks of training. Each dive will be critiqued by the judges, London Olympic U.S. Gold medalist David Boudia and Australian Olympic athlete and USA Dive Team director Steve Foley.
