Putting The Hunger Games to the side, let’s take a look at the Mortal Instruments series — another book series that is gaining headlines by being turned into a movie.

While we know and have heard that Alex Pettyfer is a favorite for Jace Wayland, Scream 4 star Nico Tortorella is also interested it seems! “Jace is the go-to character for me,” he told MTV. “It’s still a bit early on that movie, and you know everyone and their brother is up for it. We’ll hopefully see how that unravels.”

What is Lily Collins‘, who has been cast as Clary, opinion? “Jace is confident and knows he’s confident,” she shared. “He’s good-looking and knows he’s good-looking. He’s got that je ne sais quoi, in that he walks into a room and you go, ‘Wow.’ He knows he’s the best thing in the room.”

Lily added, “The amazing thing is that they really want my input, which is a complete honor…having been the first cast in the series, they want my input on the character, so that’s huge for me.”

Emma Roberts is berry blue in Burberry at the premiere of her new horror, Scream 4, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Monday night (April 11) in Hollywood.

The 20-year-old actress was styled by Emily Current and Merrit Elliott. She completed her look with Carla Amorim jewels, Elie Saab heels and a Cecelia clutch.

Emma stopped to snap some photos with costars Nico Tortorella, Marley Shelton and the film’s director, Wes Craven.

Sara Paxton and Nico Tortorella both walked the black carpet at the premiere of Battle: Los Angeles held at the Regency Village Theater on Tuesday night (March 8) in Westwood, Calif.

Nico, 22, also covers the “Hollywood Issue” of Fiasco magazine.

Inside the mag, Nico chats about just how he got started in acting. “I thought the [hockey] rink was a stage. When I scored a goal, I took my gloves and chucked them into the audience. My coaches didn’t like it though. That’s when I knew I was meant to be an actor.”

Sara Paxton cuddles up to Nico Tortorella as they arrive at the Hollywood Domino Gala presented by Circa and Bing in support of Seven Bar Foundation held at Sunset Tower on Thursday night (February 24).

Guests at the event were dressed in 1940s attire and enjoyed a special performance by Seth MacFarlane with Ron Jones and the Influence Jazz Orchestra.

Sara, 22, is also a part of the upcoming New Year’s Eve flick. No word on who she’ll be playing yet.
