We’re so sad to report that Olivia Holt has to postpone her upcoming summer tour, due to scheduling conflicts.
The 18-year-old actress and singer was set to hit the road this month will only be keeping three of her original dates she had set. Olivia will still perform at the 7/20 Los Angeles, 7/22 Queen Creek, Ariz., and 7/23 Santa Ana, Calif., dates.
The 18-year-old actress, singer and Neutrogena ambassador opened up about her music vibes, finding her style and trying to master her makeup. Check it:
On finding her style: “Fashion expresses a certain side of us. Picking out items, putting together an outfit, it’s not just something to wear, it’s a way to show who we are, what we’re comfortable with and what makes us confident…I don’t think I’ve found my style yet, and I don’t know that I ever will. I think I’ll be constantly branching out and exploring, trying to find new things that I find interesting or unique or quirky or weird. For me, it’ll always be an evolution.”
On her beauty look: “You’d think that after eight years of having my face done, I’d have picked up something along the way, but I can’t put on makeup to save my life! I play up my lips a little. Neutrogena’s MoistureSmooth Color Sticks come in every shade you could possibly imagine—and you can use it for your lips and your cheeks.”
On her music: “Music is what I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, even though acting kind of took over. It’s been a long time coming. A lot of exploring, figuring out what I like and don’t like, and what sounds and feels like me…I want to share what I’ve been through. I don’t want to sing about something that I haven’t experienced myself—I want a real passion and meaning to come through.”
“I’ve been a fan of her forever,” Olivia said. “I just want her to be my mom in a movie, or like my cool aunt. One of the two. I’m okay with either/or. I don’t even care if she’s my mom or my cool aunt. I’ll be an extra!”
Olivia Holt brings some magic wherever she goes in her new music video for her single “Phoenix!”
In the super cute video, the 18-year-old singer and actress has a blast traveling around LA with her BFFs, making stops at record stores and rooftop parties and capturing people’s inner-Phoenix!
“We’re capturing certain people’s phoenixes. So if they’re going through a hard time or if they’re struggling with something, then they find that one thing that makes them forget the struggles and step out of the shadows and face the sun. That’s their inner-Phoenix, so we made sure we captured moments like that in this video,” Olivia said about the video last month.
