The 18-year-old actress/singer is out promoting her new single, “Phoenix” and also dished up secrets about her upcoming movie, Same Kind of Different As Me.
“Unreal! I mean, they are incredibly seasoned actors with the ability to make people cry and laugh and feel something all in the same moment, but they’re even better human beings,” Olivia shared about working with Renée Zellweger and Greg Kinnear.
She added, “Renée was the most down to earth person I’ve ever worked with. Greg was also so awesome and such a genuine person. To work with them was really special, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.”

Scott Speer is set to direct the flick about a teenager (Lynch) who, after being uprooted by his parents’ separation and forced to move, stumbles upon a magical app that causes his social media updates to come true.
After becoming the hero of his new high school, his newfound power starts to cause all sorts of problem, sending him crashing back down to earth.
Olivia Holt will also star in the movie, which will begin production in June in Vancouver.
“I wanted to take my time and not rush it, and not put out something while I was on the channel because I didn’t want to be overloaded with all this stuff — balancing acting and music is a difficult thing,” Olivia recently shared.
She added, “It’s not easy. It’s a real challenge. So for me, I feel like I did it as gracefully as possible. I love both. I love acting and music so much, they’re kind of on the same pedestal, but to focus on one at a time makes it a lot easier.”
