Vanessa Marano is more than happy to meet Mat Vairo‘s on-screen parents in this new still from Switched at Birth.

In “We Are The Kraken of Our Own Sinking Ships,” Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and John (D.W. Moffatt) are concerned about Bay’s (Marano) friendship with Zarra so they invite Bay’s ex-boyfriend Alex (Vairo) and his parents over for dinner. But during the meal, Zarra calls and begs Bay to come rescue her from a sticky situation

Meanwhile, Scuba pressures Daphne (Katie Leclerc) into lying to Chef Jeff (Justin Bruening) for him. Plus, Toby (Lucas Grabeel) bonds with Nikki, and Regina (Constance Marie) tries to reconnect with Patrick.
