Adanna Duru and Maddie Walker were voted off of American Idol this week.
The two singers were sent back home after performing for Eightie’s Night with mentor Boy George.
Clark Beckham was by far, the fave, singing “Every Breath You Take” by The Police.
“You really took me on a journey, chordally, melodically, emotionally,” judge Keith Urban told him. “You became, instead of that song being sort of like almost a stalker, you know, which is what the song kind of is, you brought out the melancholy and the pain in it in a way that I’ve never heard before.”
The Top 9 are Clark, Jax, Joey Cook, Tyanna Jones, Rayvon Owen, Daniel Seavey, Quentin Alexander, and Nick Fradiani.
