OlderNolan Funk Dresses Up for Halloween with Buddy Darren Criss!
Nolan Funk looks a little worse for wear while dressed up for Halloween with his buddy Darren Criss at the WhoSay Here Come the Boos Party on Thursday (October 29) in New York City.
The guys, who appeared on Glee together, were joined at the event by Darren‘s girlfriend Mia Swier.
Darren recently opened up to Advocate about why LGBT causes are so important to him.
“For me it was self-implicit. I was lucky enough [on Glee] to have a role that was a beacon for the gay community and it was a privilege and an honor to be part of it,” Darren said. “I personally care about it because I was left-handedly raised by the gay community.”
“I grew up backstage in the theatre with gay guys in their 20s and 30s who looked after me, bought me meals, and drove me home,” he added. “So I have a conscious and unconscious affection for the gay community. I was lucky enough to be part of it.”
