Bella Thorne on Her Sexual Orientation: 'I'm Not Going to Change Myself for Anyone Else'

Bella Thorne is opening up about her decision to go public with her bisexuality.

The 19-year-old actress revealed her sexual orientation back in August when a photo of herself kissing another girl made its way online.

“I didn’t even think about it,” Bella told Maxim. “A fan on Twitter asked me [if I was bisexual], and I’m super open about it. So I just said, ‘Yeah!’”

Bella revealed that ever since that happened, studio executives have been responding in different ways.

“It is hard in this business for us,” Bella said regarding celebs who have made their sexual orientation public. “It really is. I have already had people talk [expletive] to me. And it comes from people in the industry, not even fans. I’ve had studios tell me my image is too ‘out there,’ hinting at it but not really saying it.”

“People tell me all the time about my social media and my Snapchat,” she went on, “but I’m not going to change myself for this business, and I’m not going to change myself for anyone else.”

And her biggest crushes?

“Demi Lovato, I must say … rawrrrr. She is a pretty toasty woman,” she added. “Miley Cyrus too. She’s dope. But Demi is fire, just fire.”
