Camila Mendes Says There's No Comparison Between Veronica Lodge & Blair Waldorf

Veronica Lodge is not the new Blair Waldorf.

Riverdale star Camila Mendes can see where you’re coming from with the comparison with the Gossip Girl character, but doesn’t see it herself.

“I don’t think they’re very much alike at all,” she told V Magazine in a stunning new feature. “I get the comparison, but it’s really just because she’s from New York and she’s rich.”

Camila adds that maybe Veronica was like Blair in a past life, but that’s as far as it goes.

“In Riverdale she’s different. In terms of personality, I think Veronica is more humbled and grounded than Blair Waldorf was, but I get the comparison.”
