Dylan O'Brien Wasn't Actually Supposed To Be In 'Teen Wolf's Final Episodes, But He Made It Happen

The fans were right — they had a big hunch that Dylan O’Brien wasn’t ever supposed to be in the final 10 episodes of Teen Wolf and they were absolutely right.

The actor revealed that he wasn’t contractually obligated to appear in any of the episodes at all — but because Stiles and the show mean so much to him, he made it happen.

“[It was] really important to me,” he shared with ET. “That was not the plan, either. I wasn’t originally able to be a part of the last 10 [episodes] at all, nor was I contracted to be.”

Dylan adds, “It was cool that we were able to find space of a couple weeks where I was home and I could go be a part of a few episodes, so I was glad to be able to do it ’cause I’ve been with the show since the beginning obviously.

“For me, it was my first role ever, so it would’ve been hard to eventually just not be a part of something that was still ongoing.”

Teen Wolf is back on Sunday, July 30th on MTV.
