Alyson Stoner shows off her dance moves during Missy Elliott‘s Video Vanguard Award performance at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards held at Prudential Center on Monday (August 26) in Newark, N.J.
The 26-year-old entertainer recreated her exact routine from the “Work It” music video from 17 years ago.
Alyson even revealed that she didn’t really have time to rehearse and that she only found out she was going to perform the day before!
“Let’s talk quick facts.. HiHat hit me up a day before to jump in, said “do your thing” and then it was showtime. 😅😳ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ’ðŸ»”â™€ï¸ But those grooves don’t leave your system. â¤ï¸,” she replied to a fan on Twitter that asked if she had rehearsed.
