Sabrina Carpenter Will Star In 'The Distance From Me to You' Adaptation!

Sabrina Carpenter has lined up an exciting, brand new movie!

The 22-year-old actress and singer is set to star in and executive produce a movie adaptation of “The Distance From Me to You,” Deadline reports.

In The Distance From Me to You, based on the YA book by Marina Gessner, two teens running from very different lives, meet and fall in love on the Appalachian trail. But what starts as a coming-of-age story of first love soon turns into a wilderness-thriller when they find themselves dangerously lost and fighting for survival.

Tiffany Paulsen will adapt the book for the screen, and this will also reunite Sabrina with her Girl Meets World co-star Danielle Fishel, who will also serve as an executive producer on the project. The movie will debut on HBO Max.

It’s also a reunion between Sabrina and Tiffany, who also wrote the screenplay for the DCOM Adventures In Babysitting, which Sabrina starred in with Sofia Carson.

Sabrina just wrapped filming TWO movies – Emergency and Tall Girl 2. She also has her Alice In Wonderland musical in the works with Netflix, and a possible new album on the way!
