Danny DeVito Joins The Cast of Disney's New 'Haunted Mansion' Movie!

Danny DeVito is the latest star to be added to the Haunted Mansion cast!

It was recently revealed that the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star will be seen alongside previously announced stars LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson and Rosario Dawson, THR reports.

Danny is set to portray a smug professor.

Only plot details we know are that it will follow “a mother and her son who come across a mansion that is more than it seems while being orbited by various characters key to undressing the spooky mystery.”

Dear White People‘s Justin Simien is directing the feature, which is currently filming in New Orleans and Atlanta.

This of course isn’t Danny‘s first pic with Disney. In 2019, he starred as Max Medici in the live action Dumbo, and last year, voiced the dog Bob in The One and Only Ivan.

He’s also voiced Phil in Hercules, as well as Herb Powell on The Simpsons, which along with It’s Always Sunny, was bought by Disney as part of the 20th Century Fox deal.
