Anika Noni Rose Reveals When the 'Princess & the Frog' Splash Mountain Overhaul Will Open

Princess Tiana herself is giving an update on the The Princess and the Frog overhaul of Splash Mountain at Disney Parks!

Anika Noni Rose, who voices the princess in the movie, opened up about the upcoming re-theming of the ride.

“They are making a ride — it’ll be out in 2024,” she shared during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. “I’ve been involved in the beginning, just talking about how we want it to be, what we want it to do, but, if I were to tell you anything else, I would be sucked into the ground and you’d never see me again.”

EW reports that according to a Disney spokesperson, there is no official time table for the ride’s reopening at this moment, but more details will be revealed at the Essence Festival of Culture at the end of this month.
