Ariana Grande Addresses 'Why Aren't You a Singer Anymore' Comments In New Video

Ariana Grande is responding to many online comments saying, “Why aren’t you a singer anymore?”

The 29-year-old entertainer hasn’t released any new music since her last album Positions in 2020.

Since then, though, it was announced that she will be starring as Glinda in the highly anticipated Wicked movie.

In a new TikTok video, she addressed the comments about her music career.

Keep reading to see how she responded…

“*is literally on set filming two musical movies all day every day*,” she wrote on the video, addressing why hasn’t been making her own music.

“wanted to sing you a little something but don’t want to sing anything that is not “Ozian” at the moment :) keeping to my little bubble for now … done with lots of love,” Ariana captioned the video clip, which is of her singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz.

If you recall, she actually sang that song at her “One Love Manchester” benefit concert.

In her video, Ariana can be seen trying to keep her blonde hair concealed as she is in her trailer on the set of Wicked.

Wicked will be split into two movies, with the first set to be released in December 2024. Find out who else has been cast!
