Inde Navarrette Pitched This for Sarah in 'Superman & Lois' Season 3

Inde Navarrette had some ideas for her character Sarah Cushing on Superman & Lois!

The 22-year-old recently opened up about what she had pitched to showrunners for the show’s third season.

“The showrunners and I sat down for lunch, because I had pitched them this whole idea of Sarah for season three,” she shared on The Wayne Ayers Podcast.

“At first, I was like okay, what if like in the Metaverse it wasn’t really Sarah that came back from Bizarro world. What if it’s this other person that looks exactly like Sarah and she’s weaseled her way in and we take the whole season to figure out that she’s a bad guy,” Inde continued. “And they were like, ‘Love that idea.’ Then they were like, ‘Actually, what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna make you just a really bratty teenager and we’re gonna make you go through a really big rebel phase.’”

“I was like okay, I understand where you going there because it’s true, it’s more realistic, but it’s funny because I said no to powers at the very beginning of the season. Now, they’re like, ‘Babe, you’re not getting any powers,’ and I’m like sh-t,” she added.
