'Cruel Summer' Season 2 Premiere Is Most Watched Freeform Telecast Since Season 1

The numbers are in and Cruel Summer is still just as popular as it was a couple years ago!

The Freeform series returned for it’s highly-anticipated second season earlier this month and the network has just revealed the viewing numbers for the two-part premiere.

Season two’s first two episodes brought in 2.6 million viewers across linear and digital platforms in the first seven days. This puts it as Freeform’s most watched telecast since the show’s season one finale two years ago, in June 2021.

In addition, the two eps were were the most watched scripted TV episodes on Hulu within the first week they were available, from June 6-12.

Back in April 2021 when season one premiered, it was Freeform’s most watched series premiere EVER!

Fans still can’t get enough of the mystery/thriller anthology, and it airs new episodes weekly on Monday nights at 10pm ET/PT.
